With a B2B marketing communications career stretching back the best part of decade, Duncan joined the Man Bites Dog team in 2015, bringing with him consultancy and corporate experience across technology, financial and professional services.
Duncan specialises in leading global programmes that help intelligent companies think outside the box, developing big ideas from concept through to measurable impact. His particular area of expertise is leveraging complex data from both opinion research and economic modelling to deliver complex pieces of thought leadership that help businesses articulate latent expertise into thinking that sets them apart.
Sector wise, one of Duncan’s core focus areas is where technology and innovation meet the real world, covering topics like the impact of AI on the future of work. He works with clients who have carved out a share of transformative industries but started on different sides of the divide, like Google and Korn Ferry.
Thanks in large part to his trade specialism, the breadth of Duncan’s experience has a truly international scope. For example, he has spent a lot of time with the likes of Standard Chartered, focused in particular on emerging markets, their relationships with leading world economies and the role of financial services and technology in driving global trade.
Duncan holds a degree in history from the University of Nottingham and has a strong focus on continual learning, with a self-set target to enrol himself on at least two new professional courses a year. He also leads Man Bites Dog’s development team on the pioneering of next generation digital tools that build a bridge from marketing to sales.
