Man Bites Dog, the B2B strategy and communications consultancy, has made major gains in this year’s annual PR rankings, being named a Top 10 B2B agency in B2B Marketing’s Agencies Benchmarking Report and being listed in both this year’s PRWeek Top 150 PR consultancies and Top 40 technology consultancies league tables.
Man Bites Dog achieved 9th place in the B2B agency rankings, one of a minority that generated 100% of their income from business-to-business clients, and climbed 17 places in the PRWeek Top 150 list, reaching 129th.
During 2013 Man Bites Dog has further established itself as the leading advisor to the knowledge economy, winning major new clients as well as adding a number of key appointments. The impressive rankings reflect another award-winning year which saw the team pick up gold at the Fresh awards, the European Sabre awards and the B2B Marketing awards.
Claire Mason, founder and managing director of Man Bites Dog, comments: "2013 has been a tremendous year for Man Bites Dog and we’re proud to have the team’s achievements and growth recognized in our continued climb up the rankings.”
Man Bites Dog’s technology team also secured a substantial boost in the top 40 table, rising to 29th place. Entering the top 30 reflects a number of significant new client wins for the tech team, and a growing appetite for advanced thought leadership consultancy in the sector.
Toby Brown, head of technology at Man Bites Dog, comments: "This year we have really strengthened our technology practice, winning some great new clients. Technology businesses often struggle to differentiate because they have me-too products and services or are difficult to understand, so our thought leadership approach is proving particularly popular in the sector.”
