an Bites Dog has been awarded a Gold rating by EcoVadis for excellence in sustainability management, placing the consultancy in the top 5% of companies assessed by the platform.

EcoVadis, which provides sustainability assessments and benchmarking to more than 125,000 businesses across the world, assesses organisations against a range of dimensions, including environmental, labour and human rights, and ethics and sustainable procurement.

Man Bites Dog’s Gold rating demonstrates advanced business processes and management systems across the spectrum of ESG. This includes a robust environmental management system, which is certified by ISO 14001, and a commitment to running an ethical, inclusive business.

The judges highlighted the consultancy’s strong growth, commitment to professional development, and impressive client wins: "A strong entry from an agency that has a very clear proposition. Business performance across the two years has been impressive as has the commitment to CPD / Professionalism. The list of client wins also deserves respect."

Man Bites Dog also took home two trophies for The Sustainable Cities Index 2022: Prosperity Beyond Profit. The multi-award-winning campaign – developed in partnership with Arcadis – was awarded silver in the Environmental Campaign and Corporate and Communications Campaign categories.

The consultancy’s wins included Best Brand Initiative and Best Thought Leadership Program, as well as recognition in the Best Purpose-led Initiative and Content Marketing categories.
This stellar achievement recognises several international, stand-out thought leadership campaigns from Man Bites Dog, including:

Man Bites Dog and client partners, BNY Investment Management, have won two awards for thought leadership campaign The Pathway to Inclusive Investment, the largest ever global independent research study into female financial inclusion, at the PRCA City and Financial Awards.

Man Bites Dog was awarded the prestigious Best Strategic Communications or Corporate Brand Campaign Award for the second consecutive year, and the Best Banking Communications Campaign Award for the third year successively.

Claire Mason, CEO and Founder of Man Bites Dog said: “BNY Mellon Investment Management challenged Man Bites Dog to create an integrated global campaign that would engage the world’s largest under-addressed investment market – women – and help close the Gender Investment Gap. The Pathway to Inclusive Investment campaign built the case for inclusive investment through the largest ever global research study into consumer investment behaviour and investment industry bias. Our economic analysis revealed a potential influx of $1.87 trillion into responsible investments if women invested at the same rate as men. Our campaign engaged 3 million+ women, generated 300+ pieces of media coverage, improved female financial education and inspired industry change.”

Man Bites Dog previously won the Best Banking Communications Campaign Award with Standard Chartered for ‘Zeronomics: Financing the Transition to Net-Zero’ in 2022.

Man Bites Dog and Standard Chartered also won the Best Strategic Communications or Corporate Brand Campaign Award in 2022 for ‘Zeronomics: Financing the Transition to Net-Zero’, and in 2021 for ‘Opportunity2030: The Standard Chartered SDG Investment Map’.

The PRCA City and Financial Awards were hosted in London on Thursday 2nd March 2023.
