With more than 20 years’ B2B marcomms experience in consultancy and in house roles, Ruth has deep experience in professional and financial services and technology.
Ruth’s focus is on delivering Thought Leadership campaigns that turn complex information into themes and stories that create impact. She leads programmes for clients including management consultancies Newton Europe and PA Consulting, and law firms Mills & Reeve and White & Case, developing campaign strategies that align with clients’ business objectives, particularly focusing on professional services firms.
Prior to Man Bites Dog Ruth was Managing Director at CitySavvy, a financial and business to business PR consultancy in London and a Senior Consultant at Publicis Consultants MSLGROUP in Amsterdam. Clients included Phillips, Invesco, ING Bank and Arcadis. She also has considerable experience in crisis management, formerly advising clients including a global chemical company during major crisis situations.
Ruth previously set up her own communications consultancy, which she grew from zero to a PR Week top 150 agency in just three years, specialising in digital and media PR.
Outside work Ruth can usually be found on various bouncy castles around Brighton and Hove with her young twins.
Ruth holds a BSc (Homes) in Economics and Sociology from Oxford Brookes University. A firm believer in food for thought, Ruth is also a qualified nutritionist.
