Claire is the Founder and Managing Director of Man Bites Dog, the most award-winning B2B PR consultancy in the UK.
Claire worked on her first business at 14, published a book at 25 and at 30 established Man Bites Dog as specialists in PR for the service economy. Claire has been recognised as one of Management Today’s ‘35 Under 35’ leading business women, listed as one of the UK’s most outstanding young entrepreneurs in Growing Business magazine’s ‘Young Guns’ and listed as one of the UK’s top 20 female entrepreneurs by Start Your Business.
A respected ‘advisor to the advisors’, Claire works with professional and financial services clients including KPMG, Grant Thornton, Hay Group, Capita and Yell. Agency accolades include PRWeek’s ‘New Consultancy of the Year’ and ‘Best Places to Work’ and B2B Marketing magazine’s ‘PR Agency of the Year’, as well as a host of campaign awards.
With more than 14 years experience at leading PR agencies, Claire has directed UK, EMEA and Global campaigns for some of the biggest brands in business, including Capgemini, Deloitte Consulting, BT, Adobe, O2 and Microsoft.
As well as running a small business herself, Claire has developed Government policy papers on SME issues including high growth entrepreneurship and female entrepreneurship, and supports a wide range of entrepreneurial causes, including WeConnect Europe, the leading global supplier diversity initiative spearheading the connection of women-owned business and multinational corporations.
Claire has an MA in English Language and Literature from Oxford University where she received the Coombes Prize for Literature, and a research MA with distinction from York University. She is a judge for the PRWeek, Fresh and PRCA Awards.
